Student Council Community Service

Welcome to a new trimester at Goodrich Academy. I am posting pictures of students doing community service at a nursing home in Fitchburg.

Final Exams

Students are completing final exams this week. Congratulations to the seniors who graduated May 31st. I would like to thank the students who participated in Goodrich Academy's first student council. We will continue the PILLOW PROJECT to help homeless teens and organize community service projects in Fitchburg.  The State House trip was a success again this year. I would like to thank Stephan Hay for being a great host. Have a great summer and I will see all of you at the end of August!

Statehouse Trip

Goodrich Academy students visit the Statehouse in Boston on Friday May 11th. I would like to thank Jane Rose Gregoire for chaperoning the trip and  State Representative Stephan Hay for hosting the students. We will be back next year.

State House Trip

On May 11th, Ms.Curry and I will be taking a group of Goodrich students to the State House . We will meet with State Rep Stephan Hay and tour the House chambers. I will compile a list of interested students and distribute permission slips within the next week.

New Trimester

Welcome to all the new and returning students for Trimester 3. Student Council meeting that was scheduled for Thursday March 8th was cancelled due to weather. Our next meeting is Friday 11:30 March 16th in Mr. Mac's room.

Pillow Project

The Goodrich Academy student council has started the pillow project. The goal is to raise money for homeless students in our building. This week the student council bought bags of candy and sold them to their fellow students to raise money.
